Vice President, Project Execution and Value Delivery

Role Description

The Vice President Project Execution is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Mount Vernon, OH and responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of modular and customized water solutions. This role leads project execution from proposal handover through commissioning and closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety targets are met.

The VP will actively direct and mentor project managers and multidisciplinary teams, allocate resources, and establish execution standards, procedures, and best practices. Daily activities include reviewing project plans and schedules, monitoring risk and mitigation strategies, managing key contractors and suppliers, resolving escalated technical or commercial issues and overseeing the engineering, manufacturing and construction activities of the firm.

As a member of the executive team, this role will collaborate with business development, operations and R&D teams to align project portfolios with strategic objectives and client expectations. The VP also builds and maintains relationships with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders, while driving continuous improvement in project delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership experience with 10+ years overseeing integrated engineering, manufacturing and construction project management preferably in the water and/or wastewater space. Similar industries would also be acceptable.
• Strong project and program management capabilities, including portfolio oversight, risk management, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration (e.g., EPC/EPCM or design-build mo dels).
• Demonstrated capacity to deliver complex civil and/or industrial infrastructure and construction projects (determine $XX target project size/value)
• Robust understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, regulatory frameworks, permitting requirements, and industry standards, with the ability to guide technical and execution decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills, including client relationship management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and collaboration with regulators, contractors, and partners.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of improving project delivery processes, implementing KPIs, and driving operational excellence.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present clear reports, dashboards, business cases, and executive updates.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain industry knowledge on technical trends that affect the industry and to work with R&D to improve and commercialize advancements in our proprietary technologies
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, construction management, or a related field. A P.Eng. designation, Master of Engineering and/or MBA would be considered assets.
