Delivery Rider

JOB SUMMARY

rounded, dependable Delivery Rider to safely transport food orders, process customer payments, and represent our brand on the road. This role works closely with Dispatch, Social Media, and Accounting to ensure quick, accurate, and damage-free deliveries in all weather conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order Pickup & Route Planning: Pick up verified orders from dispatch, double-check item accuracy, and use GPS tools to find the fastest, safest delivery routes.
• Safe Food Transit: Pack and secure thermal bags to prevent any spills, damage, or quality issues during transport.
• Payment & Documentation: Collect cash or digital payments accurately, issue delivery receipts, and report transactions to Accounting without discrepancies.
• Real-Time Communication: Send live delivery updates in the official Messenger Group Chat (GC) and coordinate with Social Media to keep customers informed.
• Customer Service: Deliver orders politely and professionally, handling basic customer concerns on the spot.
• Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance: Keep delivery thermal bags sanitized daily, conduct regular safety checks on the vehicle, and maintain enough fuel for every shift.
• Safety & Legal Compliance: Strictly obey traffic laws, practice defensive driving, keep all driver/vehicle documents up to date, and wear the standard uniform.
• Issue Escalation: Immediately report traffic accidents, transit delays, or order errors to management.
• Other Tasks: Perform other job-related duties assigned by management.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Riding & Navigation: Valid driver’s license, strong defensive driving skills, and proficiency with GPS maps (Waze/Google Maps).
• Tech & Communication: Comfortable using mobile chat apps (Messenger/GCs) and payment tools.
• Cash Handling & Math: Basic math skills for fast, accurate payment processing and change-making.
• Physical Stamina & Adaptability: Able to ride for long hours, manage heavy outdoor traffic, and handle varying weather conditions.
• Professionalism & Integrity: Honest, punctual, neat, and polite when dealing with customers and handling company cash.
