Route Driver –Local Beverage Distributor

Location: La Grande, OR

Route Area: Baker & Union Counties

Schedule: Tuesdays-Fridays 6am-4pm(hours may vary)

Position Overview

Local beverage distribution company based in La Grande is seeking a dependable Route Driver to service customer accounts in Baker and Union Counties. This position involves delivering products, stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and building displays while maintaining excellent relationships with customers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active throughout the day, and representing a company with professionalism and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver beverage products to assigned accounts on scheduled routes
• Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and organize product displays
• Build promotional displays at retail locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles
• Run delivery routes efficiently while following directions from management and the sales team
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal staff
• Secure company property including cash, checks, and company vehicles
• Assist with warehouse duties when needed
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and operating guidelines

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older (alcohol delivery requirement)
• Valid Class A CDL with current medical card
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company insurance requirements
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs repeatedly and move items up to 175 lbs
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and climb in and out of delivery trucks
• Must pass a drug screening and background check
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain a positive, reliable work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $900.00 - $1,200.00 per week
