Delivery Supervisor

What to Expect

As a Delivery Supervisor, your mission is to educate, inspire, and skillfully guide potential Tesla customers through the digital landscape of vehicle exploration, configuration, and sales. In this role, your focus will be to craft a memorable customer experience by leading a team dedicated to mastering product knowledge, financing alternatives, trade-in processes, and seamless delivery.

What You'll Do

• Lead Delivery Vehicle Preparation Team consisting of Vehicle Specialists and Documentation
• Assist in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of vehicle prep operational tasks and projects including but not limited to: vehicle movement coordination in vehicle lots and delivery bays, delivery schedule monitoring, vehicle repairs, detailer performance, lot organization and maintenance, and coordinator support
• Meet and exceed KPI and partner to achieve sales and delivery targets along with P&L requirements for respective location
• Proactively mediate and resolve any customer concerns regarding vehicle preparation and quality
• Recruit, train, and develop management team and employees ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner
• Provide regular feedback to all employees and ensure employee adherence to Tesla policies, dress code, and grooming guidelines
• Ensure facility maintenance and showroom presentation adhere to the brand standard and control store expenses, continually striving to reduce costs

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years equivalent experience with proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals in a service-focused industry; automotive expertise is not required
• Proven experience leading field, technical repair, or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, technology driven environment with strong customer facing responsibilities
• Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills, and an ethical execution of Tesla standards
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships as a well-respected, trusted partner
• Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment
• Valid driver’s license required
• For roles working in CA, CO, HI, ID, MD, MS, NV, NC, OH, PA, TN, UT, VA, DC: This role requires you to possess a Motor Vehicle Salesperson License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. Without the salesperson license, you cannot engage in sales activities. To check if you are eligible for the salesperson license, please contact the DMV in your state of employment
• For roles working in AZ, GA, HI, IA, IN, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, VT, WA: Notary license is preferred. Should notary support be required of this role, Tesla will provide assistance with obtaining a license

Expected Compensation

• Delivery Supervisor - $70,400 - $105,600/annual salary

• cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
