Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Delivery Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering, loading, and unloading equipment and supplies to our customers. You will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for setting up equipment in our warehouse and preparing it for delivery. This position builds into a technician position over time.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to all traffic regulations.
• Load and unload equipment using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Ensure accurate delivery of products to customer locations, verifying orders against delivery manifests and obtaining end user signatures.
• Maintain a professional attitude while interacting with customers, providing excellent service during drop-offs and pickups.
• Complete all required documentation electronically via mobile devices, including delivery confirmations and incident reports.
• Follow safety protocols for manual lifting practices and heavy lifting to prevent injuries during loading or unloading activities.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
• Unbox and set up equipment in the warehouse.
• Learn how to network our equipment at delivery to print and scan.
• Learn how our equipment operates with the ability to train end users.

Requirements

• Experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services with a focus on safe manual handling practices.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experiencer driving box trucks or cargo vans is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. multiple times daily.
• Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adhering to traffic regulations.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience with warehouse material handling equipment operation (such as pallet jacks, forklift), and heavy lifting techniques is a plus.
• Comfortable working with mobile devices for route navigation and documentation purposes.
• IT or Technical experience is a huge plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 42.5 per week
