Delivery/Collection Driver

own vehicle required preferably a van and pay for own fuel , this position is self employed , pay is £170 a day plus vat if vat registered total is £204 a day , you will be paid daily , you will be required to collect between 50 - 120 parcels a day average, when complete you can go home for the day , if you have outstanding parcels still after 9 hrs you will need to return the outstanding parcels to the depot the next day , you will be delivering to business and residential premises , you will be using a application on your mobile device to scan the parcels, the radius is between 40-120 miles per day average

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers
• Load and unload products from the vehicle
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
• Ability to handle physical work
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
