Dell Engineer – Central Asia

Requirements

• Higher education in a technical field;
• 5+ years of work experience;
• Language skills: English – intermediate level;
• Knowledge of client, server, network, and storage systems;
• Skills in pre-sales and technical documentation development;
• Ability to work with technical specifications (reading and writing);
• Ability to configure and deploy server and network equipment;
• Experience in a similar or related role at a systems integrator or distributor;
• Knowledge of the Uzbekistan market and key major partners;
• Experience with competitor products (HP, Lenovo, Cisco, etc.) — desirable;
• Certifications for Dell and/or competitor products;
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud solutions — desirable.

Responsibilities

• Technical support and consulting:
• Providing technical advice to partners and clients regarding the Dell product line;
• Assisting in selecting equipment based on customer needs;
• Conducting technical presentations, demonstrations, and webinars;
• Interaction with the vendor (Dell):
• Supporting the partner program and meeting vendor requirements;
• Training on new products and technologies;
• Participating in certification, training, and testing programs;
• Promotion and pre-sales:
• Developing technical solutions and architectures for projects;
• Preparing specifications, configurations, and proposals;
• Collaborating with sales departments to effectively promote equipment;
• Pilot projects and testing:
• Initiating and supporting pilot projects;
• Market and competitor analysis:
• Monitoring trends and changes in IT hardware;
• Analysis of competitor offerings and development of a counter-strategy.
