Demand Acceleration Lead (AD)

Overview:

• Lead the Perfect Store and Dx agenda for PepsiCo China Beverage.
• Unlock market specific values through Pepsico PS/Dx frame: shopper insights, market segmentation, customer value proposition, MSL, PiCOS, close loop tracking and monitoring.
• Translate shopper, channel, outlet and occasion insights into scalable commercial strategies and execution programs. Build a stronger execution engine with PEP and bottler teams.
• Drive Perfect Store expansion, WIE / PiCOS excellence, segmented outlet growth and profitable omni-channel growth.
• Driving overall digitalization agenda in commercial team, leveraging GIS big data solutions, exploring business use cases to empower PEP cross teams and bottler digital journey.

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic planning and business review, including 3Y JBP with bottlers, T15, AOP, OCP, QBR etc for PS/Dx, and design /reiterate digitalization roadmap.
• Lead PS/Dx strategy and roadmap landing for China Beverage, ensuring clear linkage from shopper insights to market segmentation, customer value proposition and execution priorities.
• Translate segmented market and shopper opportunities into practical commercial programs across MSL, PiCOS, assortment, cooler, display, POSM, connected cross functional strategies such as pricing / pack mix and occasion activations.
• Build and continuously empower bottlers to improve Perfect Store standards, leveraging PEP playbooks and capability tools that can be adopted by PEP cross-functional teams, bottlers and frontline sales teams.
• Establish closed-loop tracking mechanisms to monitor execution quality, identify performance gaps and convert data insights into action plans.
• Drive commercial digitalization agenda by leveraging GIS big data and digital tools to create scalable business use cases for PEP teams and bottler digital transformation.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking, data-driven problem solving, commercial judgment, stakeholder influencing, change management and strong frontline execution empathy.
• Support commercial capability team to land PS/Dx relevant capability building programs for PEP and bottlers

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in top FMCG / strategic consulting firms, with solid experience in sales strategy, shopper marketing, trade marketing, GTM, channel development, S&T digitalization.
• Strong understanding of China market, retail channels, outlet segmentation and frontline sales execution.
• Understand franchise business, ways of collaborating with bottlers via influence skills and thought leadership.
• Proven record of strategic thinking, analytics skills and story telling capabilities.
• Able to turn strategy into practical Perfect Store programs to drive MSL, PiCOS, assortment, cooler, display and POSM.
• Comfortable using data, dashboards, and digital tools to find opportunities and track execution progress.
• Good project leader who can set priorities, manage timelines and drive cross-functional work.
• Able to lead and coach a team or project taskforce, always willing to improve team capability and develop people.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with internal teams, bottlers and frontline sales teams.
• Work well in a matrix organization and handle ambiguity and pressure with ownership and resilience.
• Fluent English and Chinese communication.
