Demand & Supply Planning Manager - Ecommerce

This role is responsible for leading demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management to ensure optimal product availability while supporting business growth across ecommerce channels. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to drive forecasting accuracy, improve supply chain performance, and support S&OP and continuous improvement initiatives.

As part of continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Demand & Supply Planning Manager to strengthen forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance

Description

• Lead the demand forecasting process to ensure accurate short, medium, and long-term demand plans.
• Develop and manage supply plans that balance customer service levels, inventory targets, and business objectives.
• Monitor inventory performance and drive improvements in stock availability, stock turns, and working capital efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, Procurement, Logistics, and Operations teams to align demand and supply strategies.
• Manage replenishment planning and inventory deployment across channels.
• Support new product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal peak planning.
• Identify forecast risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation actions where necessary.
• Drive the S&OP process and provide planning insights to senior stakeholders.
• Analyze sales, market trends, and customer behavior to improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop and track key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory days, and stock availability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes, systems, and reporting.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or S&OP.
• Experience within ecommerce, FMCG, retail, or consumer products industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and planning systems.
• Experience using ERP systems and demand planning tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence decisions using data-driven insights.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams preferred.
