Demand Planner

About the role

You will work closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and other relevant teams to forecast customer demand, improve forecast accuracy, and support effective business and production planning. You will translate sales data and market insights into actionable forecasts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update demand forecasts based on sales data, customer forecasts, historical trends, market information and business opportunities
• Work closely with the Sales Team to consolidate customer demand, sales pipeline information and order forecasts
• Monitor forecast accuracy, identify demand fluctuations and analyse variances between forecasted and actual sales
• Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain and other relevant departments to align demand forecasts with supply availability, production capacity and business priorities
• Monitor customer orders, backlog and inventory levels to support timely fulfilment and minimise supply-demand imbalances
• Prepare regular demand planning reports, dashboards and performance metrics to support business decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting processes, data quality and planning efficiency
• Highlight potential demand changes, supply constraints and fulfilment risks, and recommend appropriate actions

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related discipline
• Experience in demand planning, sales operations, supply chain planning, business analysis or a related field
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms or demand planning tools is an advantage
• Ability to analyse complex data, identify trends and communicate insights clearly
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments
• Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working in a dynamic business environment
• Experience in the semiconductor, electronics or technology industry is an advantage
