Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to support semiconductor fab operations in the Bay Area. The planner will own demand forecasting, translate customer and business demand into wafer start and build plans, and work with supply, fab operations, sales, and finance to balance demand with fab capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short- and long-range demand forecasts (up to 24–30 months) by product, technology node, and customer
• Lead the monthly demand review and consensus forecast as part of the S&OP process
• Translate demand into wafer start plans and work with capacity planning to identify constraints and gaps
• Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, and variances; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
• Run “what-if” scenarios for demand upside/downside, NPI ramps, and end-of-life transitions
• Partner with supply planning, foundry/OSAT partners, and fab operations to align build plans and inventory targets
• Manage inventory and buffer strategies (die bank, WIP, finished goods) to meet service levels
• Maintain planning data and master data in planning systems (SAP APO/IBP, Kinaxis, or similar)
• Prepare demand and supply reports and dashboards for leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of demand planning or supply chain planning experience
• 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing : fab, foundry, OSAT, or semiconductor equipment
• Strong understanding of wafer starts, cycle times, yields, and fab capacity planning
• Hands-on experience with SAP APO/IBP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, o9 , or similar planning tools
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling); SQL or Power BI/Tableau a plus
• Strong communication skills; able to lead cross-functional meetings and present to leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• NPI ramp planning experience
• Experience with consensus forecasting and S&OP/IBP processes
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP)
• Experience with ASIC, memory, or logic products
