About the Role:

• Role: Demand Planner OR SIOP
• Location: Colombia (Remote)
• Employment Type: Contract for one year and good chances of extension

Key Responsibilities

• Lead demand planning and forecasting activities
• Develop and improve short- and mid-term demand forecasts
• Analyze demand trends and improve forecast accuracy
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain
• Support inventory, production, and financial planning
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Leverage advanced Excel and ERP/MRP data for planning and analysis
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and forecasting processes
• Use AI-driven tools to improve planning and business analysis
• Support S&OP / IBP processes

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Planning, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting and demand planning best practices
• Advanced Excel, including Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and complex data analysis
• Strong Power BI reporting and dashboard experience
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP/MRP systems
• Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory planning concepts
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience using AI tools for planning, forecasting, or business analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing industry experience
• S&OP / IBP experience
• Production or Inventory Planning background
• SQL or Python knowledge
• Experience automating reporting or forecasting processes
