Demand Planning Analyst

Position Summary JOB DESCRIPTION The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for co-ordination and execution of all activities related to the demand planning, converting the output of Customers orders or Forecast demand into material requirements to ensure availability of the right quantity in the assertive date when needed. The planner needs to monitor all inventory levels to ensure timely delivery and maintain all metrics for performance and achieve all business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand, verify LATAM stock availability and create material requisitions if needed.
• Verify requested dates and plan supply chain to meet the demand and customer request.
• Follow up open purchase requisition requests.
• Check the backlog of purchase orders to identify inconsistent arrival date and take actions to improve it.
• Ensure planning parameters on the ERP: safety stock, minimum order quantity, purchase delivery time…
• Create inventory actions and support the execution, ensuring corporate goals: ITO and inventory level.
• Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control.
• Avoid financial impacts following no moving/slow moving materials.
• Control Open Orders, ensuring the CRD achievement.
• Key Projects Management
• Execute control reports and update KPI’s.
• Search for process improvements and automate routine activities.

Qualifications Minimum Job Qualifications:

• • 3 year of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
• 1.5+ year of experience in ERP ORACLE/SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Knowledge of supply chain management.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in VBA macro and Power BI.
• English and Portugues are a differential.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Degree in engineering, logistics, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
