DEMAND PLANNING EXECUTIVE

1 Stock Control & Monitoring

Monitor daily inventory levels to prevent stockouts (shortages) and overstock situations. Track inbound and outbound goods accurately within the Inventory Management System. Conduct regular stock takes (weekly/monthly audits) to ensure data matches physical warehouse counts.

2 Inventory Analysis & Planning

Analyze historical sales data to forecast future stock requirements and seasonal demand. Establish reorder points and safety stock thresholds for all product categories. Identify slow-moving or dead stock and propose strategies (e.g., promotions, liquidations) to clear them.

3 Coordination & Reporting

Generate purchase requisitions for the procurement team when stock reaches minimum levels. Inspect incoming shipments alongside the warehouse team to verify quality and quantity against purchase orders. Prepare inventory reports on stock value, turnover rates, adjustments, and discrepancies.
