What they need
- Prepare and maintain monthly demand forecasts for assigned SKUs, customers and channels using historical sales, trends, seasonality, customer activities and business assumptions.
- Review Forecast vs Actual performance, investigate significant variances, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Incorporate promotions, new listings, product launches, delistings, price changes, customer activities and other relevant demand drivers into the forecast.
- Work closely with Sales to understand customer requirements and professionally challenge significant forecast changes when assumptions are not supported by data or confirmed activities.
- Participate in the Demand & Supply planning meeting and communicate demand changes, potential shortages, excess inventory and other risks to Supply Chain and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory, stock cover, slow-moving/aging stock and potential stock-out risks; proactively highlight issues and follow up on agreed actions.
- Prepare accurate and timely demand planning reports, dashboards and analysis covering sales trends, forecast accuracy/bias, SKU/customer performance and inventory risks.
- Support new product and product lifecycle planning by reviewing launch assumptions, actual performance, ramp-up/decline trends and SKU transitions.
- Maintain planning data, assumptions and records in accordance with agreed processes and timelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, reporting and planning processes and implement practical improvements.
- Assist Sales with promo tracking, price updates, listing documents, and complete administrative records (quotations, credit/debit notes, claims).
- Coordinate with Finance on credit holds and payment statuses; maintain seamless communication across Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
