DEMAND PLANNING MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish demand planning framework to ensure commitment from all functions; build and maintain good communication and collaboration both within Supply Chain and with Sales and Marketing, Manufacturing and Finance.
• Use appropriate statistical models, parameters, tools / software, that enrich statistical forecasts to generate accurate demand forecasts.
• Translate approved sales demand and work with the production planners to translate demand into weekly / monthly and rolling production plans across all manufacturing facilities.
• Lead Weekly Production Planning alignment with Plant Heads and relevant stakeholders; Drive Production Plan Adherence vs Approved Demand.
• Ensure fulfilment prioritization in accordance with approved commercial priorities and revenue impact; Coordinate with Sales leadership to manage trade-offs during constrained supply situations.
• Govern finished goods inventory levels across plants and depots. Optimize inter-plant and inter-depot transfers to support demand; Monitor inventory ageing and initiate actions to prevent obsolescence and bad orders; Ensure alignment between production output and dispatch requirements.
• Act as central coordinator during supply disruptions (e.g., raw material shortages, packaging constraints, logistics issues).
• Lead cross-functional planning and alignment forums, including: Weekly Production Planning Meeting, Weekly Dispatch Alignment, Weekly S&O Execution Review, and Monthly S&OP Executive Session.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• With at least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong knowledge of demand forecasting methodologies, including statistical forecasting, trend analysis, seasonality, promotional planning, and demand sensing.
• Project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
