Demand Planning Manager

San Miguel Foods, Inc is currently looking for a Demand Planning & Management Manager that will be assigned under Purefoods-Hormel Corporation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field .
• 10+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, or S&OP/IBP, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods .
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing and developing planning teams.
• Strong expertise in forecasting, demand analytics, S&OP/IBP, scenario planning, and inventory optimization .
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to translate data and market trends into actionable business insights.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel ; experience with SAP/APO, Demantra, or similar planning systems is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills , with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment and consensus.

Roles & Responsibities:

• Lead the Demand Planning & Management function , developing strategic 12–18 month rolling demand forecasts aligned with business and financial objectives.
• Drive and continuously improve forecasting processes, methodologies, systems, and demand planning standards across product categories.
• Lead the Demand Review / S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, facilitating cross-functional alignment and consensus among Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
• Analyze demand trends, forecast accuracy, product mix, gaps, risks, and opportunities , translating insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Lead scenario planning and demand risk assessments to identify potential impacts on revenue, profitability, inventory, and supply availability.
• Establish forecasting approaches for new products, focus brands, and product lifecycle management , including SKU rationalization and supply-risk mitigation.
• Partner closely with commercial and supply chain teams to improve forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, service levels, and overall business performance .
• Develop and standardize demand planning KPIs and analytics , leveraging ERP/statistical forecasting tools and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Demand Planning team , strengthening capabilities, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Champion continuous improvement and change , introducing best practices and building a collaborative, data-driven demand planning culture across the organization.
