about the role

as a Demi Chef de Partie at Zuma, we’re all about crafting extraordinary dining experiences, you’ll play an integral role in making that happen. with your passion for cooking and commitment to excellence, you’ll support the kitchen team while building your skills and growing your culinary expertise.

what you'll do

• maintain mise en place levels to ensure seamless service, with a focus on food quality, consistency, and presentation
• actively develop your skills to become proficient in all kitchen sections, under the guidance of senior chefs
• inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste
• conduct daily checks of storage areas and maintain high hygiene standards to meet Zuma’s rigorous expectations
• prepare food products in line with recipes, ensuring precision and high standards while overseeing the work of junior team members
• keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
