Description Demolition laborer will safely perform tasks involving and related to physical labor onsite for demolition construction projects

• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers and rakes.
• Clean, remove and prepare materials used on site to eliminate possible hazards
• Control traffic passing near, in and around work zones; signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery, equipment and materials
• Observe and comply with all company and specific site safety procedures and project policies, and maintain the construction site in strict accordance with OSHA guidelines
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, including lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation
• Responsible for care and custody of tools being used, including daily cleaning and maintenance
• Upload tools and equipment from trucks and load trash into vehicles and dumpsters to be hauled away.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Requires a clean driving record.
• At least 3 years of previous experience.
• Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Skills Or Abilities Required

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
• Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a video/GPS monitored vehicle.
• Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday
