DEMOLITION - B Class Labourer

IMPORTANT: Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year’s hands-on demolition site experience. If you have not worked as a labourer on a demolition site, please do not apply.

WMA Demolition is seeking an experienced, reliable and hardworking Demolition Labourer holding a current B Class Asbestos Removal Licence to join our team.

Based at our depot in Yamanto, Ipswich, we undertake demolition projects throughout South East Queensland, primarily across Brisbane and Ipswich.

This is a full-time position offering an immediate start, weekly pay, daily travel allowance and superannuation.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake general demolition labouring duties on active demolition sites.
• Carry out asbestos (AC) removal in accordance with relevant requirements and procedures.
• Follow all company Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures and site requirements.
• Arrive at work at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, ready to commence work.
• Maintain a reliable, hardworking and professional approach at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team and follow directions from supervisors.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A current B Class Asbestos Removal Licence.
• A minimum of 1 year’s hands-on labouring experience on demolition sites.
• Demonstrated experience in demolition work and asbestos removal.
• A current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card).
• A current driver's license and a good driving history.
• A strong work ethic, reliability and excellent communication skills.
• Relevant employment history and referees who can verify your experience.
• Australian citizenship.

Your demolition experience and asbestos removal licence must be held at the time of application. Applications from candidates without previous demolition site experience will not be considered.
