Demolition Estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in demolition/construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in relevant software. The Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for demolition projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for cost analysis.
• Prepare and present bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns of costs, materials, labor, and timelines.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms for the company.
• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to bidding processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in demolition/construction estimating or a related field is essential.
• Strong knowledge of demolition management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with cost control methods and pricing strategies in the demolition industry.
• Proficiency in demolition or similar estimating software is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors.
• Experience working on construction/demolition sites is a plus, providing practical insight into project execution.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate estimations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
