Duties

• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather detailed project information and scope requirements
• Conduct thorough site visits to assess demolition needs, potential challenges, and safety considerations
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates by analyzing labor, materials, equipment, permits, and disposal expenses
• Develop detailed bid proposals that clearly outline scope, timelines, and cost breakdowns
• Utilize estimating software and industry databases to ensure accuracy and consistency in all calculations
• Monitor project budgets throughout the bidding process to maintain competitive yet profitable pricing
• Assist in reviewing change orders and project adjustments to control costs effectively and prevent budget overruns

Qualifications

• Proven experience in demolition estimating or related construction estimating roles
• Strong understanding of demolition processes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
• Exceptional skills in cost control, budget management, and detailed analysis
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration with stakeholders
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and site plans with precision
• A proactive mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: £65,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
