Demolition Operations Worker

Job Summary

CAM Construction LLC is seeking a Demolition Operations Worker to support demolition projects, site preparation, debris removal, and general construction activities. This role assists with dismantling structures, handling materials, maintaining an organized worksite, and following established safety procedures to help ensure demolition work is completed efficiently and responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with demolition activities according to project plans and supervisor instructions.
• Prepare work areas by removing obstacles and organizing tools and materials.
• Help dismantle designated structures, fixtures, walls, and building components.
• Collect, sort, and remove demolition debris and construction waste.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials safely.
• Operate basic hand tools and approved equipment as trained.
• Assist equipment operators and demolition crew members with site tasks.
• Identify and report potential hazards, damaged equipment, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain clean, organized, and accessible work areas.
• Follow required personal protective equipment and site safety procedures.
• Assist with separating recyclable materials and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Protect designated areas and nearby property during demolition activities.
• Follow supervisor instructions and established project procedures.
• Perform additional demolition and construction duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous demolition, construction, or general labor experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is beneficial.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift materials safely.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work outdoors and in changing site conditions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with demolition, site cleanup, or construction labor.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction equipment.
• Knowledge of debris handling and material sorting.
• Awareness of construction site hazards and safe work practices.
• Good teamwork and time-management abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Willingness to complete required safety training.
