• Plan the work sequence, assign daily tasks, and coordinate labor, equipment, hauling, and disposal.
• Lead, train, and work alongside crews. Set clear expectations for safety, productivity, workmanship, and accountability.
• Operate heavy and light equipment, including excavators, tractors, and demolition attachments, within your training and qualifications.
• Use hand and power tools confidently and perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Recognize unsafe conditions, utility concerns, and suspect hazardous materials. Stop affected work and coordinate the appropriate help when needed.
• Protect structures and property that must remain, keep the site organized, and oversee debris separation and final cleanup.
• Communicate professionally with the owner, customers, general contractors, subcontractors, haulers, and inspectors.
• Track daily progress, labor hours, equipment needs, and job photos. Identify scope changes and get approval before performing additional work.

What we are looking for

• Proven professional demolition experience, including full structure and selective demolition.
• Experience successfully supervising crews and taking jobs through completion.
• Strong plan-reading skills and practical knowledge of construction methods, demolition sequencing, tools, and equipment.
• Sound judgment, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to solve problems while recognizing when specialist help is needed.
• A dependable, organized leader who treats people respectfully, follows through, and takes responsibility for results.
• Ability to perform hands-on outdoor work and travel to job sites throughout Northern Nevada.
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 30
• Equipment hauling/trailer driving

Additional experience we value

• Estimating, job costing, and production tracking.
• Prior experience serving as a contractor’s trade qualifier.
