Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bartenders
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through suggestive selling techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; bus tables and assist with food preparation when needed
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service while balancing multiple tables or orders

Skills

• Extensive experience with food service operations, including serving, bartending, and handling cash transactions
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Culinary experience or food preparation skills are a plus for assisting in kitchen tasks or food handling
• Familiarity with sanitation practices, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in fine dining or casual restaurant settings enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service during late-night hours
• Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to foster guest satisfaction and team collaboration
