Dental Assistant

Overview

We are a brand-new dental office opening soon and are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team!

This is a great opportunity to be part of a new practice from the beginning and help us create a welcoming, professional environment for our patients.

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary dental tools and materials for procedures
• Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (computer-aided design) technology for accurate diagnosis
• Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as tracker ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly environment that eases anxiety and promotes cooperation during treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote long-term dental health

Skills

• Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with a strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
• Experience with dental practice management software tracker for record keeping and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with sterilization protocols and infection control standards to ensure patient safety

Pay: $18.20-$20.50 per hour
