Dental Assistant

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures
• Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort
• Take and develop diagnostic radiology images such as X-rays to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Record patient information, treatment notes, and procedural details accurately
• Provide post-operative and oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Maintain compliance and infection control and safety standards
• Assist with impressions, temporary crowns and other clinical task
• Manage dental supplies and maintain inventory

Requirements

• Proven experience in Dental assisting
• Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), with knowledge of emergency response procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) management systems
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with manual handling techniques necessary for sterilization, equipment setup, and patient positioning
• Friendly, professional and patient focused
• Team player with a positive work ethic
• Eaglesoft knowledge is preferred
• Coronal Polishing is preferred but not required
