Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist and clinical team while helping deliver an outstanding patient experience. We value initiative, anticipation, and a willingness to learn above all else. While previous experience or formal training in dental assisting is important, we place greater value on motivation, strong customer service skills, and being a great teammate.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and cared for
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilized instruments
• Review treatment plans and answer patient questions
• Take and record medical history and vital signs
• Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols
• Assist with scheduling and patient checkout as needed
• Anticipate clinical and patient needs to keep the day running smoothly

Qualifications

• Previous experience or formal training in dental assisting
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable with computers and data entry
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a strong team player
