Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control. Duties

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform dental x-rays accurately and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional patient care, including patient management and addressing patient questions or concerns.
• Manage patient information using healthcare-specific management software, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
• Implement and uphold infection prevention and control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Support clinic operations by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and managing supplies.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions.

Experience

• Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is required.
• Proficiency in taking dental x-rays is essential.
• Strong skills in patient care and management are necessary to foster a welcoming environment.
• Familiarity with healthcare management software used for patient records is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control procedures is critical to maintaining safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is highly valued.

Pay: $25.78 - $31.05 per hour
