Dental Assistant – Richmond Endodontics (Richmond, IN)

Position Details

• Location: Richmond Endodontics, 1607 Chester Blvd., Richmond, IN
• Schedule: Flexible, Monday–Thursday (full days) and Friday (½ day)
• Status: 4 days/week, 32+ hours

Responsibilities

• Assist the endodontist with root canal treatments, apicoectomies, and occasional extractions
• Prepare patients and operatories for procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort
• Take and process high-quality digital X-rays and CBCT scans
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and maintain strict infection control standards
• Keep accurate digital charts and assist with clinical documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff
• Perform administrative tasks such as charting, scheduling, and patient communication when needed

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a team-oriented, surgical environment.

Requirements

• Must have a current Indiana Radiology License
• Must be comfortable assisting with surgical procedures (apicoectomies and occasional extractions)
• Dental assisting experience preferred, but training will be provided in all endodontic and surgical procedures, as well as in our computer systems and digital technology
