Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management policies.
• Assist the dentist during general dentistry procedures by providing chairside support and managing dental instruments efficiently.
• Take digital dental X-rays ensuring proper patient positioning and safety protocols.
• Perform Coronal polishing
• Manage patient records accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
• Support administrative tasks including patient management, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries as a dental receptionist, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• New or has experience working as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures. Willing to train the right candidate
• Skilled in dental instrument processing, sterilization techniques, aseptic technique, and infection control standards
• Demonstrated ability to perform dental X-rays accurately while adhering to safety protocols; Must have Xray Certification
• Must have coronal polishing certificate
• Must be a team-player and reliable

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
