Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the dental office while providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other staff members to deliver high-quality dental services in a friendly and professional environment.

Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
• Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
• Take (X-rays) as required
• Maintain patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using tracker
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment

Experience
Candidates should possess prior experience or knowledge in the following areas:

• Proficiency in using tracker or similar dental software systems
• Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental practices
• Experience as a dental receptionist or in dental assisting roles is preferred
• A multi-specialty dental practice, located at The Boardwalk, is looking for an experienced receptionist
