Dental Assistant

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, arranging supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures.
• Collect and process biological samples such as blood or saliva for diagnostic testing, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, including patient histories, treatment notes, and procedure reports.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care instructions, and general health education to promote wellness.
• Monitor patient conditions during appointments by reporting any changes or concerns to the dental team promptly.
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and ensure seamless communication with clients to enhance their experience.

Schedule

• 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday
