Dental Assistant

The Smile Haven is looking for a positive, compassionate, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for their appointments with warmth and professionalism.
• Provide chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry.
• Assist with restorative, endodontic, surgical, implant, Invisalign, and other dental procedures as required.
• Take dental radiographs and digital records/scans within applicable scope and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain operatories and clinical supplies.
• Perform sterilization and follow infection prevention and control protocols.
• Anticipate the dentist's needs and help keep appointments running smoothly.
• Communicate patient needs and observations clearly with the clinical team.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and collaborative workplace culture.

Requirements

• CDA Level II or Level I with HARP certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable learning digital dentistry and new technology.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
