Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Salary: $18-22 per hour

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will support our dental professionals in delivering high-quality oral care and ensure patient comfort and clinic efficiency. You’ll play a key role in clinical and administrative tasks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and creating a positive patient experience.

Description:

This position is responsible for assisting the dentist in the clinical treatment of patients. The Dental Assistant performs a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. Assistants hand instruments and materials to dentists and keep patients' mouths dry and clear by using suction or other devices.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and materials, performing suctioning, and other tasks as needed.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping them neat and organized.
• Manage patient records and assist with charting
• Sterilize instruments and ensure operatory cleanliness
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Support the front desk as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Dental Experience is preferred
• Understanding of general dental hygiene procedures
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, technical skills and equipment is preferred
• Complies with all regulations, protocols, and procedures
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the dentist, patients, and other team members
• Friendly, professional, and dependable with great interpersonal skills
