Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with a variety of clinical procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management policies.
• Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging technology such as 3D scanners and dental X-ray machines, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis.
• Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain clinical confidentiality policies.
• Support patient management by greeting patients, scheduling appointments using patient management software, and managing patient flow efficiently.
• Perform chairside assisting duties using dental terminology and knowledge of dental equipment to support smooth clinical operations.
• Monitor vital signs when necessary, assist with oral surgery procedures, and ensure aseptic technique is strictly followed to uphold healthcare infection prevention standards.
