About the Role

As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients receive high-quality care in a safe, efficient and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing chairside assistance during a wide range of dental procedures.
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring surgeries are fully equipped.
• Maintaining strict infection prevention and sterilisation standards.
• Supporting patients before, during and after treatment.
• Preparing instruments, materials and equipment for clinical procedures.
• Managing clinical stock and assisting with inventory control.
• Assisting with digital workflows, dental photography and laboratory tasks.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring surgeries operate efficiently.
• Working collaboratively with clinicians, reception and the wider team to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred but not essential).
• A Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or be working towards one) is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence using computers and willingness to learn dental software and digital technology.

Pay: $29.00 – $31.00 per hour
