Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help provide efficient and quality dental care to patients. Ortho background if possible but not required

Duties:

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies

Skills:

• Proficiency in dental terminology
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Familiarity with medical/dental records management
• Ability to perform patient assessment systems
• Understanding of anatomy and dental procedures
• Experience with OpenDental, and dental imaging software
