ABQ Dentistry & Wellness
Are you someone who loves helping others feel at ease, supported, and genuinely cared for? Do you thrive in a clinical environment where connection matters just as much as clinical skill? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our team!
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
We believe great dentistry starts with compassion. Our approach centers on whole-patient care - listening, building trust, and creating an experience where patients feel safe, understood, and confident in their smiles. As part of our clinical team, you’re not “just assisting” - you’re making someone’s day better, every single day.
What You’ll Do
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in creating a smooth, supportive, and comfortable patient experience. You’ll:
- Assist the doctor chairside with a variety of procedures while keeping patients calm and informed.
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms and trays with precision and care.
- Ensure sterilization protocols are followed to the highest standard.
- Take digital x-rays and impressions.
- Document treatment accurately in Open Dental and support charting.
- Help guide patients through their visit with empathy, encouragement, and clear communication.
- Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to deliver exceptional care every step of the way.
Who You Are
- Relationship-Driven - You help patients feel safe, respected, and cared for
- Knowledgeable (or eager to learn!) – You have dental assisting experience or the motivation to grow quickly.
- Responsive - You anticipate the patient, and doctor needs to keep the day running smoothly.
- Professional - You bring reliability, integrity, and a positive presence to the team
- Calm & Compassionate - You know how to help patients feel at ease.
