We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing Oral Surgery and Prosthodontic practice. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment while assisting with advanced surgical and restorative procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist/surgeon during surgical and restorative procedures, including extractions, dental implant placement, bone grafting, full-mouth rehabilitation, and implant-supported restorations.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
• Take digital radiographs, CBCT scans, intraoral photographs, and dental impressions.
• Prepare patients for treatment by reviewing medical histories, obtaining vital signs, and explaining procedures.
• Assist with local anesthesia and IV sedation procedures while monitoring patient comfort and safety.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene and implant care.
• Maintain accurate electronic dental records and document clinical procedures.
• Coordinate laboratory cases and manage prosthetic components and materials.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate stock of clinical and surgical supplies.
• Follow OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in oral surgery, prosthodontics, implant dentistry, or a specialty dental practice is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, sterilization protocols, and infection control standards.
• Experience with digital imaging and electronic dental records.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
