**Job Overview**

We are currently looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting our dental professionals and ensuring efficient patient care. **Responsibilities**

• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

• Take and develop dental X-rays

• Maintain accurate patient records

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

• Perform basic lab tasks, including sterilizing equipment and preparing materials

• Schedule patient appointments and handle billing tasks

**Requirements**

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role

• Knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques

• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures

• Ability to take vital signs and X-rays

• Understanding of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus

• Proficiency in using dental software

• Strong anatomy knowledge for effective assistance during procedures

• Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
