Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures
• Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when necessary
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, ensuring they understand care procedures
• Support front desk staff by managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and handling basic administrative tasks as a dental receptionist
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and answer questions related to treatments or procedures

Experience

• Prior experience in dental assisting or a related healthcare role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is advantageous
• Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient care
• Experience with orthodontic appliances or CAD technology is beneficial but not mandatory
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
