At my private practice, we do things differently.

One important note upfront: our schedule is centered around patient care, not fixed hourly quotas. We typically schedule our last patient at 4:00 PM and usually finish around 5:00 PM. However, if our last patient is at 3:00 PM, we finish earlier as a team and all usually go home.
If you are specifically looking for a strict, guaranteed 40-hour workweek, this would not be the best fit for you. If you value flexibility, efficiency, and leaving when the work is done, you’ll likely love it here.

About Our Office

• Privately owned by Dr. Derik Pham, DMD

What You’ll Be Doing

• Chairside assisting for a variety of procedures, primarily single-unit crowns (this is the core of our practice)
• Occasional surgical and implant cases
• Very minimal endodontics, if any at all. I haven't done an rct in about 2 years
• Assisting with routine prophys (low-stress, steady workflow, our patients enjoy staying with us for their care)
• Preparing and breaking down operatories efficiently
• Taking digital X-rays and assisting with CBCT imaging
• Supporting patient flow while maintaining a calm and organized environment
• Helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for
• Working closely with Dr. Pham and the team to deliver high-level dentistry

What We’re Looking For

• Dental assisting experience preferred (but attitude and work ethic matter matter more)
• Just depending on the person, I've trained dental assistants right out of DA school, and some with limited dental knowledge and she ended up being on of the best dental assistant's I ever had, until she left to become a great stay at home mom :)
• So just depending, i'm not looking for the most experienced person if they fit into my office culture.
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Good communication skills with both patients and teammates
• A desire to grow and improve—not just “get through the day”
• Someone looking for a long-term dental home
