Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient care.
• Take dental X-rays
• Provide patient management by explaining procedures, answering questions, taking vital signs, and assisting with patient comfort.
• Maintain infection prevention protocols through proper sterilization procedures, aseptic techniques, and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies

Experience

• Previous experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with dental assisting procedures including chairside assisting, dental instrument processing, and dental sterilization procedures.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy related to dentistry, and medical documentation practices
• Understanding of infection control standards and healthcare infection prevention practices in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude towards patient care and team collaboration.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
