Our Schedule & Work Environment

Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Tuesday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Two Saturdays per month: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

We are a non-HMO dental practice, and we intentionally avoid overbooking our schedule. This allows our team to spend the appropriate amount of time with each patient rather than constantly feeling rushed.

We believe in ethical, patient-centered dentistry. Treatment recommendations are based on what is genuinely in the patient's best interest—not unnecessary procedures, production pressure, or sales-driven treatment.

We also provide orthodontic services, giving the right candidate an opportunity to expand their skills and learn orthodontic assisting on the job.

Responsibilities

As a DA at Baseline Dental Practice, your responsibilities will include:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental treatment procedures.
• Prepare patients for treatment and help ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas according to proper protocols.
• Provide patients with post-operative and post-treatment instructions.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
• Assist with scheduling and other front-office tasks when needed.
• Assist with orthodontic procedures — training will be provided.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment.
• Assist with other duties necessary to keep the practice running smoothly.

What We're Looking For

• California Dental Assistant license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current California dental X-ray certification.
• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• Knowledge of common dental procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
• Dependable and willing to work as part of a team.
• A genuine desire to learn and grow professionally.

Compensation & Benefits

$23–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
