Dental Assistant

About the role

This is a primarily clinical role supporting endodontic specialists chairside, with exposure to sterilisation and occasional support across the practice as needed. You will work in a fast-paced, well-supported specialist environment where teamwork and consistency matter.

Key responsibilities

• Chairside assisting for endodontic procedures
• Preparing and turning over surgeries efficiently
• Maintaining sterilisation and infection control standards
• Supporting smooth clinical workflow across the day
• Assisting the team where needed to keep the day running on time

About you

• Minimum 1–2 years dental assisting experience (general or specialist) preferred but not compulsory
• Strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation protocols
• Ability to work in an adaptable clinical environment
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to take direction
• Good communication and team awareness
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting highly regarded
