Dental Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and caring part-time or full-time Dental Assistant to join our growing patient-focused dental practice. As part of our team you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel like family. You will assist during restorative procedures and complete tasks such as stocking rooms. The ideal candidate is a hard working team player with excellent interpersonal and verbal skills who has the ability to interact with all age groups. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:45pm (2 Fridays per month as needed)

Responsibilities

• Seating and dismissing patients from the treatment rooms while making them feel comfortable.
• Assist the dentist chair-side.
• Take diagnostic quality radiographs & impressions.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety.
• Set-up and breakdown of treatment rooms.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments.
• Review patitent documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPPA regulations.
• Maintain organization of lab cases and treatment rooms.
• Follow lab cases coming into and leaving the office.

Qualifications

• Valid PA radiology certification.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar dental management software systems is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Attention to detail & stamina to meet the physical demands of the job (i.e. able to life up to 45 pounds).
• PA regulations require current (within 5 years) criminal background check, child abuse clearance, FBI fingerprinting.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
