About Affordable Dental Philip

Affordable Dental Philip is seeking a friendly, motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team in Phillip, ACT. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a professional and supportive dental environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with our dental practitioners to provide high-quality patient care and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during dental procedures and treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments are ready for use.
• Clean, sterilise and maintain dental instruments in accordance with infection control guidelines.
• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit.
• Assist with patient records, appointments and general administrative duties.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked clinical environment.
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations.

About You

• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A caring, professional and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
