Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate medical records, including patient history and treatment plans.
• Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Utilize 3D scanners for dental impressions when necessary.
• Support pediatric dentistry practices by providing compassionate care to younger patients.
• Implement medical coding for insurance purposes as required.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental clinic operations and procedures.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and recording techniques.
• Familiarity with medical records management systems.
• Experience with X-ray technology and safety protocols.
• Understanding of medical coding practices related to dentistry.
• Ability to operate 3D scanners effectively for patient diagnostics.
• Strong grasp of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
• Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
