Dental Assistant

The Melbourne Smile Centre is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team!

(Please note that Australian working rights and min. 1 year experience are essential.)

About the role

As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth running of our practice.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• assisting dentists chairside and ensuring the operatory is fully stocked and prepared
• sterilising/reprocessing instruments in line with infection control protocols
• maintaining accurate patient records in our practice management software
• providing outstanding customer service and a positive patient experience
• delivering personalised care in line with each patient's treatment plan
• supporting the wider dental team with administrative tasks.

What we're looking for

• Full Australian working rights essential
• Min. 1-2 years dental assisting experience essential
• Dental practice management software experience essential
• Previous reception experience highly regarded
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate and professional approach to patient care
• Genuine commitment to ongoing development in the dental field.
